Prince of Persia

http://prince-of-persia.uk.ubi.com/index.php?page=home
Well this is the latest game from ubisoft which one of my friends suggests it is the Prince of Perisa for the next generation.

The game is set in a ancient Persian surrounding, In the game, the player assumes the role of the Prince, whose name is not revealed in the game. The Prince is accompanied by a girl named Elika, whom he met after a large sandstorm diverted him from his course and he ended up in a mysterious land. Players traverse many different environments using the Prince's acrobatic abilities to scale walls and even crawl on the ceilings. Throughout the journey, players combat various different enemies as they attempt to cleanse the land of corruption.
It is basically the same story happy at the start, then the bad guy comes you have to stop the bad guy then peace is restored. Well it isnt as simple as that :)
The combat system is just like the same as the original Prince of Persia games which includes the actrobitc skills, Puzzle solving and the combat is nearly the same.
The area of the game is pretty simple as as you need to capture all of the areas before you fight the bosses in each area.
The bosses in the game are people that sold their souls to the Lord of Darkness Ahriman.
The bosses are the hunter, the alchemist, the warrior and i cant remember the other 1.

Guild Wars Part 2

Right this part of this posting is for the different types of professions and the updates that Arenasoft are doing to the game. There is a link to the offical guild wars site and to the guild wars wiki site

The first profession I am going to talk about is the 1 most players go is the Warrior:)

The warrior bases his attacks in close range with either the sword, axe or the hammer. This profession is the 1 most players go for as the warrior is the strongest character in the game.

Next up is the Ranger

This profession focuses on long ranged attacks with their bow. They also use a animal companion that you can choose. They have the ability to perform nature rituals and use there wilderness survival skills to stay alive.

The next 1 is for players that don't like going into fights but protect there allies which is the Monk.

The monk is what i said above they use healing magic to help their allies in tough situations, they use protection magic to well... protect their Allies and smiting magic to do damage to the enemy.

Next up the dark magic user the Necromancer

The necromancer controls the dead :0 by using the corpses of the enemy it brings forth a death minion to fight opponents. It also uses blood magic to either heal allies or to help himself or the minions they make. The final magic they uses is curses which either take health away or do damage over time.

The next profession that is the pretty boy/girl of the game is the Mesmer.

The Mesmer uses the divine art of making the enemy confused with illusions and domination. the Mesmer also inspires people in battle. Some people have clled them irish dancers due to the dance they do.

The next character which was the first character I made was the elementalist.
The elementalist bases his attacks on the ..well elements. The four elements you have a choice of are fire, water, earth and Air. So if you like burning your enemies to a crisp or just blowing your enemies away then this is the profession is for you.

The Next 2 characters you must have factions to use them. The deadly but sneaky character in the game the Assassin

This profession focuses on melee attacks but it focuses on combining there attacks to do more damage to ememies. They also focus on speed as well assassins are known for there agility.

I still have 3 more characters to go so bare with me.

The next proffession the player can choose is the Ritualist.

The ritualist summons spirits to do his bidding. These spirits only last for a couple of seconds but they do damage and do different effects to enemies such as blinding them or make them run slower.

The last 2 characters i am writing about ar from the guild wars expansion Nightfall. So if what to use these characters GET NIGHTFALL!!

The second last character is the dervish.

The Dervish uses a scythe (Grim Reaper) to attack multiply enemies with scythe attacks. They use mysticism to change into gods, the use both wind and earth prayers to help the heal and attack faster.

The Last Character is the Paragon

The paragon are the motivators in a party. They also give commands and show great leadership in battle. The paragon weapon of choice is the spear which will allow them to attack for long ranges.

Guild Wars Part 1

Sorry for the delay of blogs. Well since 2009 is coming soon that means for guild wars fans the second installment of the massive online multiplayer.

The original Guild wars was made by Arenasoft which is 1 of the most popular multiplayer designers. In order to playe the game you had to make an account and input the code you get with the game or if your friends want to try the game out before buying there is a demo input number for a period of 2 months i think.

For those who havent played it Guild Wars allowed you to make a character so you could either go and do the PVE (player vs Enviroment) or PVP (player vs player). At the start if you got prophecies you got 4 character slots and when you bought factions and Nightfall you got an additional 2 slots per the expanion. Sadly Eye of the North did not give any character slots but it allowed players that got there characters strong enough to play in this area. There are 10 different proffesions that the player can choose from. I will explain the Characters and the Updates in the second part of this blog.
